The Event Challenge
For the second year in a row, the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) asked us to produce an event for the National Small Business Week. We could have followed the same format as the year before, but that’s not our style. We decided to up the ante a bit.
Bright Lights, Big Win
With over 12 onsite events, including a full gala and Presidential reception at the White House, we raised the bar even higher. The back-end management was a real but welcome challenge, which included designing and maintaining a standalone event website as well as managing all onsite registrations. Then came the showstopper. Instead of sticking with a traditional scenic backdrop for the main stage, we decided to implement a 15’x40′ seamless digital backdrop using AXON media servers and multiple Christie Digital projectors. It allowed us to keep every ceremony fresh, unique, and engaging (not to mention it was pretty darn cool).
With complete creative and branding control, we executed a seamless, beautiful and effective event. You could even say we set the benchmark for SBA’s National Business Week events to come.
